connecting arts, education, and health

In our present day of medical, social, economic, and racial distress, creativity in music offers us a path forward. Music offers a gentle approach to the topic of multi-dimensional awareness, which provides a crucial foundational step towards empathy.

Through short, to-the-point talks and music performance, participants will be empowered to build trusting relationships with a more multi-dimensional perspective that alleviates misunderstanding and dismissal. The audience has an opportunity to build trust in a safe place to contemplate cultural differences through a shared experience in the joy of both Chinese, Western, and American music. The audience is invited to not only find inner peace through listening, but also to spark creativity that imagines new ways of communicating and processing life together.

Playing the piano is the kind of experience that when I listen to every nuance of every little note, I become conscious of everything around me... and of being alive.
